Mayte is a language educator with over 20 years of experience teaching English and Spanish in various countries and specializes in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. She is a certified interpreter and translator, having worked for organizations like the United Nations and Red Cross. As a Coloradan, she is heavily engaged with the local community as a High School teacher, a Language Justice practitioner for various non-profits, and an advocate of diversity and inclusion. Whether she is seen at the Capitol, guiding cross-cultural conversations at parents associations, or facilitating communication for women-owned or Latino businesses, you are sure to know that she takes pride in helping people build positive relations.
